This is an estimate based on general Saudi Labor Law rules. Actual amounts may vary based on your specific contract terms and wage components. Confirm final figures with your HR department or GOSI.
How it works

Three steps, exactly as the law defines them

The calculation follows Saudi Labor Law Articles 84–87 — the same rules HR departments and labor courts apply.

1

Base entitlement

Half a month's wage for each of your first five years of service, then one full month's wage for every year after that. Partial years count proportionally, day by day.

Article 84
2

Separation adjustment

If your employer ends the contract, you keep 100%. If you resign, a sliding scale applies: nothing under 2 years, one-third from 2–5 years, two-thirds from 5–10 years, and the full amount from 10 years.

Article 85
3

Wage basis

The default basis is your last basic wage. Some contracts include allowances such as housing in the gratuity wage — check your contract, and use the toggle to compare both.
